Annual Chili Cookoff 2020

The Poplar Bluff Housing Authority welcomes you to join us this Saturday for the Chili Cook Off at the Black River Coliseum. The cookoff runs from 11am-2pm and the Butler County Commissioners’ booth will celebrate the fact that Butler County Counts! Learn more on the official Facebook page of the chili cookoff.

This week we learned a lot in the Earthquake 101 and Earthquake Summit events. These events, held in the Tinnin Fine Arts Center at Three Rivers College, brought experts from across the country to discuss earthquake risk, preparedness and recovery in this area. They also shared steps we can take now to keep our families and community safe. Emergency preparedness is one of the important public safety benefits of an accurate Census. Remember, you count!
