On July 2, 2020, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development published PIH Notice 2020-13 (HA), REV-1 which provided additional waivers and alternative requirements, extended the periods of availability for previously established waivers and alternative requirements for the Public Housing Program. Prior waivers were issued on April 10, 2020 in PIH Notice 2020-05 .
The statutory and/or regulatory waivers adopted by the Housing Authority of Poplar Bluff reflect temporary adoptions in the Public Housing Admissions and Occupancy Policy. First waivers adopted in April, 2020 and second round of waivers adopted effective 8/1/2020.
While the Poplar Bluff Housing Authority has adopted the opportunity to utilize the waivers, we are not implementing all of the waivers at this time, we have simply adopted them to allow us to use them if needed.
